Niramaya Health Insurance Scheme (Objectives)

The Niramaya scheme aims to provide affordable insurance to patients insured under the National Insurance Act, 1999. This plan provides health insurance coverage up to Rs. 100,000 per year.

Niramaya Health Insurance Scheme (Documents)

For Claim Process:
  • Copy of Niramaya card or mention Health ID Card number.
  • Self-attested copy of Disability Certificate.
  • All original prescription papers given by the doctor.
  • All original bills of Hospital / Medicine / Doctor fee / Therapy fee / Conveyance etc.
  • All reports in original.Complete bank details of Beneficiary : Name of Account Holder.Account No. / Bank Name / Branch / (City & State).Bank account IFSC Code.
For Enrollment Process:
  • Proof of payment.
  • Below Poverty Level or BPL card (in case the beneficiary belongs to BPL category).
  • Address Proof.
  • Disability certificate issued from the District Hospital or appropriate Government authority (Self-attested).
  • Income certificate (Self attested) of the parent/ guardian competent authority as issued by the State (in case the beneficiary belongs to APL category).

The program is open to applications to all persons with disabilities who hold a valid disability certificate and meet the disability criteria listed in the National Guard Act of 1999.

Niramaya Health Insurance Scheme (Application Process)

  • Parents and guardians of persons with disabilities should bring necessary documents to the Regional Registration Office (RO) to register their children in Niramaya.
  • After the originals are verified, RO will complete theNiramaya application online and upload the necessary scanned documents.
  • Each beneficiary will receive a Health ID number or card upon successful enrollment and approval, or they can download one online or through RO.

Niramaya Health Insurance Scheme (How To Apply)

  • Go to the nationaltrust.gov.in official website.
  • Once there, select Niramaya from the “Scheme” section by clicking on the left-hand side. There, you will find all the facts about the scheme.
  • Select “Download.
  • Click the “Download” option after reviewing the contents of the Niramaya Health Insurance plan. The Raksha TPA Pvt Ltd. Centre List, the Enrollment Form, the Renewal Application Form, and the Claim Form are your four possibilities.
  • Click “Download Enrollment Form”.
  • Select the “Download Enrollment Form” option from the list of four. Have all the necessary information listed on the form close at hand.
  • Submit the form
  • Send the completed form to the closest RO. The rest will be handled by the RO, who will also complete the online Niramaya application form and upload the necessary scanned documents after the originals have been verified. After finishing, the RO will pay the application fees and submit the properly completed form on the National Trust portal.
