About Haryana OTS Scheme 2024

In response to the ongoing demand from Haryana traders and businessmen to pay tax before GST, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Tuesday announced the One-Time Scheme (OTS) 2023. The program will run from January 1 to March 30, 2024. Companies can reclaim tax credits under the OTS-2023 scheme. Taxes are divided into four categories, and there are about 7 tax laws that were in force before GST that exempt interest and penalties. Chief Minister Manohar Lal also announced the establishment of a tax training center in Gurgaon in partnership with HIPA.

Haryana OTS Scheme(Featurers&Benefits)

  • Haryana OTS scheme was launched by Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Sunday

  • Taxes under the OTS system are divided into four categories, the first being the non-compete category in non-competition cases.

The tax amount is separated into four categories under the OTS approach, beginning with an undisputed fee category for uncontested cases. The entire sum in this category, with no penalties or interest, will be paid by taxpayers. Taxpayers will have to pay up to Rs 50 lakh on 30 per cent of the unpaid tax. Uncontested taxes confirmed by the department in the absence of an appeal fall into the third category.

If the amount is less than Rs 50 lakh, the taxpayer pays 40% and if the amount exceeds Rs 50 lakh, the taxpayer pays 60%. In addition, the group offers cost and profit discounts. The remaining various tax revenues fall into the fourth category. Here, taxpayers pay 30% of the total because the government reduces the amount. The OTS scheme is not only tax-free but also offers good financing options.
