The scheme for gig workers was launched by CM Reddy at an event in Hyderabad. He assured the workers that labor policy in Rajasthan will be implemented by our government and new laws will be framed in the next Vidan Sabha session. He said all employees, including those paying their own rent, tax or employed by online food delivery services like Swiggy and Zomato, will get emergency cover of Rs 5 lakh under the Telangana Gig Workers Insurance.
